I usually hang out in the Creative Corner on the officials and I just came across this reply on a showcase thread:

Really, DarkAmaranth? So what you're saying is that people who have a lot of store items should refrain from using them in their uploads so that YOU can download them? Your reply really pisses me off, but I don't want to ruin this nice person's thread by starting a fight, so I'll give my opinion here instead. When I build something I use whatever store items and EP/SP's I have. Because that's why I bought them, you idiot. And don't think I didn't notice your (less than) subtle hint about your 205 items long wishlist. Pathetic.

What is that old saying? "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". You should remember that the next time a wave of bitterness comes over you, DarkAmaranth.

I uploaded TAMIKO'S STROLLER a few hours ago by request. Someone saw a picture of Tamiko in her stroller and asked if I could upload it. Sure, why not I thought, even though uploading re-colors is really not my thing. That stroller now has over 500 downloads! How crazy is that? That's more than some of my Sims and houses!

Oh, Cry Me A River, Why Don't You?!

I can't believe this person and her obsession with recs. She is known for making sympathy threads begging for recs and gifting people in return for recs. Where I come from that's called a bribe. I might add that her studio consists largely of recolors (not that there's anything wrong with that per say), but for some reason she feels so strongly that she is entitled to an obscene amount of recs for these creations. And now she has had enough it seems:

Have you seen it? So far this has been a crappy summer here, it's pretty warm but there's hardly any sun. And for a sunbather like myself that's not good. It drives me crazy!

With a whopping 27 messages in over 2 years, I wouldn't get too used to her presence. This time she swung by to tell us that the links for a manual patch given to someone by Live Chat were incorrect. A new Mac patch will be released as soon as possible.

To Patch Or Not To Patch

So a new patch is out. But as usual I'm waiting for my mods to be updated before I install it. You can read about the specific fixes HERE though. As a Mac user I'm most interested in these:

Mac Only: Toilets will no longer overflow when switching between floors of a house after the toilet has been booby trapped. 

Mac Only: Fixes a crash issue that occurs when opening the Options Menu after playing the game for a while.

Mac Only: Fixes a crash issue that occurs when opening the Scrapbook after playing the game for a while.

Mac Only: Fixes a crash issue that occurs when clicking the “Share Memories” button after playing the game for a while.

So, About Those Imaginary Friends...

Yeah, I'm not a fan. In fact, I strongly dislike them, no - I hate them.  I've only had one so far, and that was enough for me. So I got This Mod  (there's a mod for everything these days), unfortunately it doesn't get rid of the IF's you already have in your game - but it increases the chance of them running away. But all of my future kids are safe from this monstrosity.

Are you addicted to the New Topic button (the answer is yes if your finger can't stay away from it for more than 5 minutes)?
Do you hijack other people's threads and make them all about YOU?
