New Mac Patch

So I'm sitting here minding my own business, I open the launcher to install some stuff from the store and I'm told there's a new patch...

Well, well - what's this? Another Guru On The Mac Forums?

With a whopping 27 messages in over 2 years, I wouldn't get too used to her presence. This time she swung by to tell us that the links for a manual patch given to someone by Live Chat were incorrect. A new Mac patch will be released as soon as possible.

Marvelous work there, SimGuruJenn. Don't be a stranger now, you hear?

To Patch Or Not To Patch

So a new patch is out. But as usual I'm waiting for my mods to be updated before I install it. You can read about the specific fixes HERE though. As a Mac user I'm most interested in these:

Mac Only: Toilets will no longer overflow when switching between floors of a house after the toilet has been booby trapped. 

Mac Only: Fixes a crash issue that occurs when opening the Options Menu after playing the game for a while.

Mac Only: Fixes a crash issue that occurs when opening the Scrapbook after playing the game for a while.

Mac Only: Fixes a crash issue that occurs when clicking the “Share Memories” button after playing the game for a while.

So, I have my DD of Generations but I was waiting for Twallan to update his mods. I'm pleased to see that he has done so now (I love you, Twallan!). And then I stroll over to the Mac boards on the official to see if people have encountered any problems with the new patch and such. And boy, have they ever! I mean, look at

 Nothing but problems as far as the eye can see!
