Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19, 1972 in Brooklyn, New York, and is the daughter of a musical director and a fashion designer. She grew up with Staten Island with her brother and was educated in Pacific Hills School after being home schooled. At a very young age she had acting stints including that of television commercials and off-Broadway productions. Her first major television role was on Who's the Boss?. She made more adult appearances on her later films like Casualties of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story, Embrace of the Vampire, Confessions of Sorority Girls, Deadly Sins, and Poison Ivy II: Lily. Her major television appearances were on Melrose Place, Spin City and Charmed. She was married to Cinjun Tate however they divorced eleven months after their marriage in 1999. She is an avid fan of tattoos and has eight of them on her body.Phoebe Halliwell is played by Alyssa Milano in the magical series Charmed. Phoebe is the youngest of the children of Patty Halliwell and Victor Bennett, and was born with the power of premonition, a passive power. She only triggers her powers when she touches something or is in the presence of something that has to do with her premonition. Of all the sisters, Phoebe has the most tumultuous love life, as she married Cole, a district attorney and half-demon. Later in the series, the Charmed Ones end up killing him due to the damage and danger he has caused to the whole family.
